The Newport Public Library has some basic Federal Tax Forms (1040, 1040A, and 1040EZ - forms and instructions) available to the public. They are located on a table in the parking lot lobby.

The state of Rhode Island no longer supplies paper tax forms. They are asking everyone to visit their web site and obtain any forms you need from there.

Need one-on-one tax assistance?

Volunteers from the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) will be at the library to help.

  • When: Every Thursday afternoons beginning February 4, from 12:30-4:00.
  • Where: Newport Public Library Stride Room, near the Spring Street entrance.
