Maker Lab Project Request

Please allow up to 2 weeks turn around time. We will provide jobs sooner whenever possible. The Library offers its 3-D printer as a community amenity and has complete discretion regarding what it will and will not print. The Library will not accept print requests for items that are, in and of themselves, considered weapons. Requests for models of such things such as guns, gun parts, or cutting instruments (knives, spears, machetes, et al.) will not be honored, regardless of purpose, intent, or dimensions. Furthermore, Rhode Island General Law Title 11 §47-8-e states: "No person shall manufacture, sell, offer to sell, transfer, purchase, possess, or have under his or her control a ghost gun or an undetectable firearm or any firearm produced by a 3D printing process."
