Trouble Island by Sharon Short– A mobster’s wife, under the guise of a maid, has been staying on an island frequented by mafia members. Things take a turn for the worse when her friend is found dead in the water and she is the only remaining woman on the island. 

Booked for Murder by P.J. Nelson– After the passing of her Aunt, Madeline Brimley inherits her aunt’s bookstore. Upon arrival in town, she is threatened to leave immediately or the book store will be burned down.

Invisible Helix by Keigo Higashino– When a young man is found murdered, but the only suspect has a clear alibi, the Tokyo police department calls on “Detective Galileo,” a physicist who has helped them in the past.
