Gabriel’s Moon by William Boyd– A travel writer dealing with the death of his mother becomes a spy for a member of the secret service. 

The Close Up by Pip Drysdale– A young author becomes a victim of stalking, in which the perpetrator reenacts scenarios from the author’s novel.
