Some items may not renew if:

  • The item does not allow renewals (e.g., Star books)

Introduction to HTML & CSS

Thursdays 3-5PM starting September 6, 2018

Course:  Introduction to HTML & CSS

Description:  HTML and CSS are markup languages that form the building blocks of the web. In this course you will learn how to convert digital design mockups into static web pages. Specifically, you will learn how to approach page layout, how to break down a design mockup into page elements, and how to implement that structure and design in HTML and CSS.

This is a guided MOOC. Think of a guided MOOC as a kind of learning circle, a facilitated study group for people who want to take online courses – with other people in a face-to-face setting. A reference librarian will be  present to help support your learning experience.  Why sign-up? You’ll get a support group for learning, access to new studying strategies, dedicated weekly study time and space, a network of co-learners, and the ability to learn in a  low pressure environment.

This class is full.
